So How Does I-Lipo Work ?
By using a low level laser which interacts with the mitochondria of the fat cell. The I-lipo changes the fats consistency (Tryglycerides breakdown into glycerol and fatty acids), pores of the fat cell open and the fat seeps out into your body and is available to be used as energy.
The fat cell remains intact and unharmed, for instance if you can imagine a grape is your fat cell before I-Lipo and after it looks like a raisin. By leaving the fat cell unharmed and intact, leaves your body the option to use it again and not deposit new fat in areas you really do not want it such as around vital organs
Are The I-Lipo Results Permanent ?
Often we asked this question, of course if you over eat and do not exercise then its a very real possibility that the fat will return to the treated fat cell, in the same way all the fat cells (whether treated or untreated) will increase in size as fat is stored as opposed to used energy.
How Many I-Lipo Treatments Would I Need And At What Intervals Do I Need To Have The I-Lipo Treatment ?
A course of 8 treatments is recommended over a period of 4-weeks, with at least a day between.
You will need to use the energy released from the fat cell with a cadio workout, so its worth booking on days that will allow you to do this.
Can I Do More Than One Area At A Time With The I-Lipo Treatment ?
One session of I-Lipo can release up to 500 calories, which needs to be used as energy for you to achieve weight-loss, so unless you are willing to run a marathon after each treatment we would recommend one area should be treated at a time.
